On the quiet street of North Caulfield, Einstein’s 251 buzzes with peeps waiting to grab a table….Which is quite surprising as not a soul at sight on the street.

Beautifully done up interiors gives the perfect vibe of being a pet-friendly cafe.

Smoked Salmon Latkes,. Fritters and a Sabich but with meat (I guess, do not recollect clearly)

Everything on plate was fresh was delicious…Yet something seemed incomplete. …Desired some balance.

Hosts are super friendly and pricing compared to portions are good. Decent options for vegan as well.

The best shakshuka…and coffee!

Been there many-many times for a breakfast, and a few times for lunch.

Very friendly staff, extremely attentive. After a few visits they remember me and what coffee I usually (always) order. After that, every other visit they’d bring me my coffee before I even got a chance to order it. Amazing!

Coffee “piccollo” to start with. Wonderful taste.

And their shakshuka so tasty – it’s our favorite (not just mine but for a few friends as well). This is a standout for us, but they do have quite a few good things on their menu. Go there for breakfast, lunch or branch – you won’t regret!

Amazing Presentation + Taste

I had the most amazing brunch here!

The venue is modern and very bright. The staff was extremely nice and attentive.

We’ve ordered a smoothie bowl, the casatta, eggplant and feta shakshuka and a mango smoothie.

Every dish was freshly made and presented so beautifully. Besides the look, it tasted really good as well! Especially the shakshuka which I have never tried before really surprised me.

I will definitely come back here for another brunch time with my friends!

Trendy and modern with great food!

This place was casual, trendy and well worth the visit. The menu choices were excellent and very interesting. It was a mix between Middle Eastern cuisine mixed with modern Australian tastes. Would absolutely recommend and will be back soon!!

Always excellent!

Persistently excellent food. Have been going here for years. Keep your eye out for the daily specials on the board – Dor, the excellent chef regularly adds new amazing dishes. I can not recommend this place enough – truly a hidden gem!

Fab food & chai with lots of variety

Love this place, it’s a real local that we keep coming back to despite moving away. Food is fresh and has quite the variety, you’re unlikely to be disappointed. The owner leads his staff with true Aussie friendliness and good humour. Aussie cuisine with a middle eastern slant.

Beautiful and wonderful cuisine

A few of Saturdays ago, we went to Cafe Claremont for our outing. To tell you the truth, I was completely unaware of their existence; therefore, discovering them came as a pleasant surprise. Pleasant and convenient, being located close to both Glenferrie Road and the Malvern train station

Beautiful dishes in the fridge, and a satisfying range of options on the menu. We went with the eggs benedict and the mega salad for our meal. Both tasty, and packed with an abundance of flavour. In addition, it is cheap!

I am looking forwards to coming back to visit again soon.

Malvern Cafe

Reliably good cafe near the station. Plenty of seating. Good menu with reliable friendly service. A professionally well run cafe.

Cool kid in the… s

Nutritious food

Lovely property with a pleasant and cosy backyard, but the food and service are what really make this business stand out.

The salads are crunchy and incredibly fresh, and they are chopped to order.

The coffee is excellent and is prepared precisely how you request (thin, hot soy, etc.), and all the staff members want is for you to have a good time.

Will be returning!!!

Still mouthwatering, so come there as early as you can.

I took a visitor from another country there for breakfast, and they couldn’t say enough good things about how fresh and delicious our meals that are made to order are. We arrived there at 9:15 in the morning, and it started getting crowded not long after that. The cafe absolutely deserves the reputation that it has earned.

Late Brunch

I came here for a very late breakfast without any particular expectations, but I ended up being extremely pleased with the meal.

On a cold winter day in Melbourne, I went with the Warm Me Up Mushrooms, and they did indeed live up to their moniker. My dining companion’s breakfast consisted of eggs scrambled with mushrooms. Because the main servings were so large, both of us ordered a substantial helping of bacon on the side, but we both agreed that it would have been enough for just one of us to enjoy by itself.

The restaurant has a Middle Eastern flair and serves some traditional breakfast dishes alongside them.

Would most certainly come back.

Always perfect 👌🏼

The food here is sensational !! The service great and always a good atmosphere noisy but that means people are chatting and not playing on their phone which is what I enjoy . Highly recommend the food here. The photo is a soup board “ yes that is a grilled cheese sandwich with sweet potatoe chips and soup of the day” smashed avo is amazing and the scones are so fresh . Returning customer cheers ,the asbestos guy

great ambience and menu

This coffee lounge set across the road from a lovely little park and has gone to some trouble to present’ ambience both inside and out the staff a courteous the service I found to be quick on the times I have been the menu is extensive original and tasty the prices are reasonable for that area and though it is not Bargain Basement it is reasonable for the quality of food and service you will get

Brunching

I’ve recently moved to the area and had to hunt out new breakfast places. Luckily there are a few so far which are stand out. Mr Brightside is one of them. Cute interior and nunneries outside seating options. Inside is pretty loud. The food is delicious and also usually offers up something a bit different; the first time I went I had peppermint and chocolate pancakes The coffee is solid; always a must for brunch. My only qualm was that food did take some time to arrive; longer than half an hour but it is always very busy so this makes sense at least. If it’s brunch in Caulfield you’re after, this is a good one to hit!

Excellent Coffee….Give It A Try!

This cafe is where my wife and I stopped for a cup of coffee when we were on our regular “lockdown” walk. This particular coffee shop is one of three or four that are located in the immediate vicinity.

Because of the limits imposed by Covid-19, the only option was to order food to go. My order was a skinny latte with extra hot milk, and I was not let down in the least. I like things spicy, robust, and flavorful, so this fit the bill perfectly. After I had finished drinking it, the coffee left a creamy texture, a flavour resembling a hint of bitterness, and an aftertaste that lingered for a considerable amount of time.

The service was swift, pleasant, and extremely friendly. The price was a tad steep, coming in about $9 for two coffees (my wife had a small long black with a dash of almond milk).

In the past, we have purchased coffee at a nearby cafe called Common Room, but the coffee that we got from Frank and Ginger’s was by a wide margin superior (personal choice). If you offered me another, I wouldn’t think twice about accepting it.

If you are in the neighbourhood, you should give it a shot.

I stopped by today for some breakfast and coffee.

The arrangement of the tables was done to facilitate social distancing. There is a lot of talk going on about that right now. Both the eggs poached in butter and the coffee were delicious. I had both. That you have a team that is eager to serve and a joyful bunch is really nice:)

Fantastic

Lovely bistro that serves delicious cuisine and has excellent customer service. Having brunch here with my family was a highlight of the weekend. Incredible menu that will make it extremely difficult for you to choose just one item! Also, the coffee is excellent, and they are quite accommodating if you want something to be made just for you.

Wellington, New Zealand

Lovely quiet cafe

Because we have a daughter who lives in the area, we thought it would be fun to give the cafe a shot when we were on vacation visiting her.

What a delightfully quaint little bistro it is.

The service is kind, and the food is both great and reasonably priced.

While I opted for the bagel topped with mushrooms, chutney, and egg, my husband went for the bagels topped with bacon and eggs. They were excellent in every way.

The following morning, for an additional fifteen dollars, we added bacon to the poached eggs that were served on sourdough bread.

Although I didn’t particularly care for the coffee, I rather enjoyed their smoothies.

Strongly recommended for anyone in the North Caulfield area.

Amazing!!!

One day, we decided to have lunch here. I requested mashed avocado in addition to eggs, toast, and bacon in my order. It was absolutely fantastic, the ambience was wonderful, the service was wonderful, and they were really very friendly, and the food were wonderful. This is an incredible coffee shop.

Cafe D’lish in Caulfield

269 Bambra Rd, Caulfield South VIC 3162

http://d-lish.com.au/

In November of 2001, we opened up shop as a café and deli that is owned and run by our family. It has a cosy and welcoming ambience, and its design was inspired by delis in New York City. However, it has a distinct European flavour.

The recipes for many of our mouthwatering meals have been handed down through the centuries, and we believe that the warm and fuzzy feelings that these dishes create are a significant factor in our continued success.

This place has a particular atmosphere that allows you to enjoy a delicious coffee, a breakfast or a delicious dessert at the end of the evening as a family. It is attended by its owners, which becomes a guarantee of good service and quality. In addition, the Jewish community of Melbourne will find Kosher food recipes, giving special attention to the members of this community.

The origin of their recipes comes from the meditarranean guaranteeing exquisite flavors to the palate.

Now, if you find it in winter you can enjoy delicious hot drinks. Among them, hot chocolate, coffee, mocka, capuccino, tea and aromatic infusions ideal for cold seasons.

Similarly, if you are in summer you can enjoy ice cream, delicious fruit juices and other cold drinks for the sun.

It is located in one of the most emblematic suburbs of Melbourne, which adds a pleasant environment because after a coffee, you can walk around the places near Café D’Lish. Go and enjoy it

Lovely, fresh, and home-cooked dishes can be found at Cafe D’lish. xx The service is excellent and quite courteous. I indulged on some of their delicious homemade lasagne and Asian coleslaw, both of which are prepared fresh on the premises. xx😁😊👍

A Small Café, friendly and helpful staff. I brought a coffee and asked for cold water, the waitress gave me a bottle of Cold Water and glass with a happy smile, great service. I have been back for another coffee and had  a salmon patty very delicious I recommend it.

Gerard Roffey

Six of us had lunch here.  We sat out in the rear garden area and despite a bit of breeze it was nice.  The food was excellent.  Two people raved about the chicken hamburger.  The service was excellent – attentive and nothing a problem.  Usually being “stuck out the back” in some places, service can be less than adequate, but not here.

Late breakfast

Very accommodating place, my wife can’t have butter, onion or garlic and they didn’t flinch. Fantastic fresh juices and they added ginger at our request, wow! Menu is basic but good enough for us – I want to try the Bombay / Mumbai sandwich on the back, looks great.

normans568

Kinch is our favourite brunch place

We are from Sydney and make a beeline to kinch

As we have become regulars Shane Kinch

Does not mind experimenting to my requests so we use menu as a guide to invent various brunch plates

Spicy not so spicy whatever you feel like

This is a unique eating house at reasonable prices

We love it

Laurie H

Great service – amazing sandwiches

We had sandwiches – grilled chicken and avocado, and Reuben. Perfectly toasted, warm and tasty, both. I really wanted the Mumbai sandwich but they were out for the day – I may have to come back, it sounded so delicious. They also offer fresh fruit juices and smoothies. Cute place too.

platypus150

Good range

Whether you want a snack or a full meal they have it here. Just across from Caulfield Park, Kinch is a friendly place, with good service, and full of natural light. I was advised my Bombay Sandwich toastie was spicy and indeed it was. It was a cheese and cucumber sandwich with Indian spices and chutney. It was a gem. My coffee was good, too.

CharmedLife11

Coffee the way you want & with a smile

Comfortable and spacious set up; tables and chairs with enough space between them. No loud music – it’s all about the customers.

However you like your coffee, they’ll do it for you if you ask. Polite service that doesn’t rush you out the door.

There is a good range of cakes and meals and not expensive.

A little children’s table and chairs with materials for play and drawing give the parents some time to relax over a cuppa.

Clean toilets there’s no down-side:

Caulfield’s hidden gem!

Fast and good food. Friendly service. We arrive with wheelchair bound or walking frame special needs. Staff at hand to assist with entering.

Kylie McNamara

Today was my first visit, purchased the Mango Chicken Salad and it was tantalising for the taste buds, aesthetically pleasing, freshly made and filling. Most importantly the chef has insight, as the ingredients are finely cut so you get the dimensions of flavour in each mouthful.

The cafe is inviting with great floor plan. They have out side seating, bench window seats, group tables, newspapers provided, great takeaway fridge for people on the go and friendly staff.

Naomi Kolski

Good service, nice atmosphere, delicious food. My friend said the smoothies were amazing, and they’re happy to make changes.

What more could you want from a local Cafe?

Yip. It’s GOOD!

Great consistent coffee. You could swing a cat in here and still have room to sit.

Plenty of good stuff on offer to eat too. Brownies look crazy. I’ll be having one of those thank you next time.

Had a ham and cheese croissant.  Thumbs up.

Recent breakfast, had a superb coffee, and the chilli eggs. Corn bread was spot on! Chilli egg jam also, can’t fault it!

Other had hot chocolate and French toast, which looks insanely amazing. And double thumbs up!

Jonathan Sala

Food is fantastic, I’ve loved everything I’ve ordered and the eggs are always poached perfectly. Staff are friendly and it’s bright and airy. Good coffee too.

Anaru August

We’ve been supporting the Granger during the Covid-19 pandemic and they’ve been supporting us with their great customer service, excellent coffee and takeaway treats. Can’t wait for their reopening for sit-down customers soon!

Paul Szymkowiak

Food and Coffees were all very good across the board for all 4 of ourcparty, with professional, no-fuss service.

Nice calm atmosphere. If I was to critique anything, the Hash slightly disappointing – interesting shape but slightly soggy (not crisp) and not overly flavoursome.

Extra star for accommodatng a family of 4 for brunch, 5 mins before advertised closing. Excellent overall: we’d definitely return again.

Justin

Great food and friendly staff. Granger is located in a quiet spot in Caulfield and consistently servers up great coffee and food. Service is always friendly and attentive. The menu consists of the standard cafe variety, but I have always enjoyed what I have ordered. Strongly recommend this place

Excellent coffee. The personnel provided excellent service and were very polite. A setting with a really laid-back vibe. The brunch menu featured a lot of hearty dishes. Almond lattes, soy chai, iced lemon tea, and iced chocolate are among the most popular beverages.

This is a great Caulfield cafe. Attentive service. Excellent coffee, smoothie, brunch and the vegetarian Pho was the highlight. If you’re after a good healthy and delicious menu this is the place to be. Two thumbs up 👍 👍

Home feeling in this long time favourite in the neighbourhood. Warm on a cold day friendly staff who seem to know most people by name. Lots of regulars come back for their favourite meals. Their thin style chips are very good and their tuna sandwich with asparagus is a tasty change from the normal tuna sandwich.

A cold winters morning after a run and our son takes us to his local and favourite coffee haunt.  Wow! So cosy, the staff are excellent and the Breakfast food delicious and the prices are very reasonable. How lucky are we ❤️
