Today, we celebrated Father's Day with the most delicious takeaway supper possible. There was a large selection of mouthwatering foods to choose from, including shawarma, chicken schnitzel, falafels, humus, salads, and laffas.

A very friendly and made-to-feel welcome Israeli-type take-away shop, always busy and with a comfortable, happy ambience. A better pick in the area for this type of food. Great for take-away or eat-in, sit in comfortable surrounds, or for a lower budget meal (compared to a more higher-end place to eat at). Excellent cuisine. We don't eat in the restaurant very often (lockdown... yawn), but we do buy takeout from here once every few weeks, and it's consistently delicious. My absolute favourite samosas in all of Melbourne! Other dishes that are extremely popular include butter chicken, Bombay aloo, and daal makhani. I adore the rice flavoured with lemon, too. Pakora, chicken tikka, mild saag chicken, mild lamb rogan josh, saffron rice, cheese naan, plain naan, paratha delivered.

Food was hot and plentiful. Entrees were very nice and mint sauce was truly amazing.

Saag was exceptional. Lamb was very tender although a tiny bit dry. Medium spice was great. Left you with tingling in the mouth and lips.

Spices in the curries were wonderful. It truly felt like authentic home cooking.

I had a favourite Indian place that has been number 1 for years. Im a little sad yet excited to say, that i have a new favourite Indian restaurant.

Thank you for your cooking. I cant wait to try some more dishes and when COVID restrictions allow, we look forward to dining at your restaurant.

Had the mango chicken which was very nice. The chicken was well cooked (not overdone) and the sauce was very creamy with a subtle mango flavour. The naan bread was super fluffy which I really like. Friendly staff and nice decor with artistic napkin arrangement make it a nice date.

Since 1981, here at Nostralis, we've been delighting customers with delectable vegetarian pizza made with whole grain. We are really proud of the fact that we only use the most recent components in the production of our bases, which are created with 100 percent organic wholemeal flour.

However, that is not the end of our discussion. The cheese that we use is produced with vegetable rennet, and in order to ensure that vegans and those with coeliac disease are not excluded from our offerings, we have expanded our selection to include cheese made entirely from soya (Cheezly), as well as gluten-free and wheat-free bases.

Highly recommend this lovely little pizza place in Caulfield! There is a massive variety of vego and vegan pizzas to choose from and I love that there is no meat at all for a 100% vegetarian experience! Great serving sizes and we'll priced too. Super healthy and yummy pizza for the vegetarian and vegans! You can eat in (a few tables inside) or take away (call before you leave home if you are a local, which usually takes 10-15 mins only). Customise whatever ingredients you want or not want (I always skip the olives) and trust their menu even they look so bazaar for some..... The banana pizza is extremely nice!! Don't judge the look because your taste buds and guys are going to love it!

As a consumer of Nostralis Pizzas since the 80’s, I have yet to come across a better pizza anywhere in the world. The Ridotto with chilli has been my all time favourite, but they are all unique, and unbelievable taste sensations, and I’m not even a vegetarian!!

Nostralis have a fantastic range of vegetarian and vegan pizzas to choose from. We had the cheating pepperoni and mushroom pizzas which were so well balanced with flavour.

I'd also like to acknowledge the manager's assistance to resolve an incorrect order when using uber eats for the first time. They listened to my issue and were able to help resolve the incorrect order.

Highly recommend and definitely try their mushroom pizza 🍕

Nostralis are well-known for their vegetarian pizzas, but they are now also open for lunch (Jaffles but no pizzas).

I tried the jaffle with chicken (mock chicken slice), avocado, mayo, pineapple and soy cheese. It was really nice, and a pretty decent price compared to the other local shops.

The staff members who served us was very friendly as well!

The water feature within the venue adds to an additional touch to the otherwise nicely layout restaurant. Menu selection at lunchtime is done through traditional pen on paper ticks and you find yourself asking did I just order too much. The dishes start piling in and you soon start to feel that you just can’t stop eating or stop enjoying the next piece. In the end you’re full while thinking whether there’s any room left for desert. With its friendly staff I’ll definitely give his place another visit soon.

Dragon Hot Pot caught my eye and curiosity, I went in and I chose my meat, vegetables and spice level. I was not disappointed. For a decent price, I had myself a lovely large lunch/dinner and I had the welcome sensation of their spices.

Was pretty crowded and naturally the service was slow. Staff were extremely courtesies even though they had to handle a lot of people. The ambiance is more like an early 2000s setup with variety of alcohol to choose from. As mentioned in other reviews, the quantity of food can be increased for the price charged. However, the food was unbelievably tasty. I have not had such good food in a very long time.

Delicious food that is well above average! Some of the best Indian food in Melbourne. The initial service was a bit slow, we stood around looking lost despite making eye contact with some servers. The meal made up for it though! Heads up: it gets very loud and noisy during peak hours. It is a small space and it will be hard to hear yourselves, and it could distract from the meal drastically. If you want a quieter meal, opt for off-peak hours.

Really enjoyed this Indian restaurant. Love that food is more important than alcohol. Very busy on a Saturday night and waited a little longer than I anticipated. Food was worth the wait. All the classics are there and you will enjoy it. 5 of us and the bill was a shade under $200 so $40 a head. In that we had 2 beers and shared 3 desserts amongst 5 people.

A great example of the traditional fish and chipper. Nicely presented but still pretty traditional in menu etc and without pretension to be more than it is. They generally cook the chips how they should be with a little crunch.

Love the food. Live in the area and love it a lot. GREAT burgers and the chips are just perfect. Friendly staff and efficient service. It’s really clean and you can see the staff cooking your food. Just amazing. Really recommend

Without a word of doubt, this is the best fish & chips in Melbourne.

The service is so efficient & friendly.

The freshness of the food is outstanding.

My fave is the grilled calamari, Greek salad & a potato cake.

My daughter loves the battered flake & chips.

We will soon push the envelope and try a burger! I watch the owner and her team cook. They clearly love what they do and create delicious meals that they would expect from a restaurant.

Always on the hunt for a great cheeseburger... luckily this one is in walking distance to my house and I hunt no more! Fantastic chips too. Have also enjoyed the grilled fish and their lovely fresh salads.

Great family business!! Very reasonably priced, kind service, great team - a testament to the business how busy it was! Important to note - the shop was incredibly clean, as was the kitchen - spotless! - the best fish and chip shop!
